krisandlarry-sugarsaltscrubThe end of the year is coming and I am getting ready for teacher gifts. I homeschool several of my kids, however, I do have a few in public school. We made some AMAZING “baskets of RELAXATION” for my boys’ teachers… After a year with them, They needed those!!!

Our baskets included bath salts, sugar scrubs, lotion, bubble bath and body butter. (all in matching flavors)

Sugar Salt Scrub

  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Epsom Salt
  • 1/2 cup Almond Oil
  • 10 drops of your favorite essential oils (rosemary and mint, or rosemary and lemon grass or citrus or lavender)
  • 1 T dried herbs (I used rosemary from my garden)

In a mason jar, add the salt and sugar. Replace lid and shake.  Next, add the 1/2 cup of oil and 10 drops of essential oil and optional dried herbs. Replace lid and shake again. Let sit over night before using to allow the oils and herbs to soak.
