Do you LOVE Digital Scrapbooking or are you wanting to get started? I want to share one of my favorite sites to visit.  I visit it several times a week and participate in the forums. And I even upload some of my digital scrapbook pages and some of my scrapbooking elements, paper, and kits in the free to download area for others. They have a monthly membership where I can download ALL their kits and elements.

First, here is a background on me. I was a designer for paper scrapbooking for both products and layouts for several different companies in the early 2000’s when there was a huge scrapbooking

boom here in the USA. And then I became a digital designer with my own lines, both on my own and then for several companies including a direct sale company. When my son, Breckin, passed away in 2017, I stopped scrapbooking for a while, a long while. I was no longer motivated, and I would cry every time I would sit down to scrapbook.

2020 came and I got back into scrapbooking. It is the perfect thing to do at home while I have been slowing down this year. We are making memories together.

I researched and found Pixel Scrappers. I absolutely LOVE this site and the people who are on there. If you’re new to digital scrapbooking and interested in learning about what goes into making the craft, just check out Pixel Scrapper’s new digital scrapbooking article.

“Pixel Scrapper is a community of creative individuals who enjoy creating art about their daily lives and activities in the form of digital scrapbooks. Through the forums and comments, participants can come to be built up in art and creativity and the rest of their lives. A recent article (What is Digital Scrapbooking?) published by the company explains and educates readers about the topic.” (

I love the subscription at Pixel Scrapper (And yes, it has made my life easier because I pay one fee and then download whatever I would like during the month.) There are papers, elements, and even styles and actions that I can use in my Photoshop program.

Every month there are challenges to get you motivated to create different pages and more. My favorite challenge from a few months ago was to find an ad and copy it to a scrapbook layout. I found a very “clean” Nike ad and used that. What a great motivation to get a page created.

There are even items that you can print and create paper creations as well. I am also a blog hop contributor for my own products through Pixel Scrapper on the first of the month.
